Position : Full Time IT Trainer ( coding /web trainer )

Workings hours :38.5hrs per week

Wages: £27,500-£28,0000/ annual

 

Job description

• To deliver DCS IT training specialist coding programmes and web developing to our clients.

• Conduct training needs analysis and define the skill sets needed to accomplish different roles.

• Create lesson plans, projects, assignments, code challenges, and exercises.

• Conduct performance appraisal to establish the skills gap between current and desirable learner skill levels.

• Present training to clients by using study aids.

• Perform technology training sessions for IT department staff as required by our clients .

• Revise training presentations and schedules for Site IT department training as needed

• Design training programs equip employees/end-users with the appropriate skills.

• Develop a suitable mix of formal and informal development activities

• Responsible for the set-up of the learning environment and resources

• Create lesson plans, projects, assignments, code challenges, and exercises

• Create relevant prep work for students to complete (i.e. content you’ve created yourself, readings, blogposts, videos,etc.

• Deliver instruction both virtually (Zoom) and DCS on-site

• Ensure smooth transitions between instructors by scheduling handoff meetings with instructors before and after your week of teaching

• Provide the team with ongoing feedback

• Proficient with HTML, CSS, C++ JavaScript JavaScript/React.js or Python/Dja

Work experience and Personal Skills :

• 1+ years of experience developing software systems

• Either attended a coding course or have a background in computer science .

• Have prior teaching experience as an instructor or teaching assistant.

• Have a strong technical background in software development.

• Have experience working with modern development tools.

• Have experience using the Google software suite.

• Have experience using an LMS such as Google Classroom or Canvas

• Are willing to work with a small team in which you are constantly providing feedback to improve the program.

• Have prior experience with coding bootcamps or similar program

• Must be patience , hardworking and flexible

• The ability to build and motivate others

• Must posses sound subject knowledge

• Excellent communication

Qualification /training.

• Possess a degree in any subject area and has strong background in IT ,Coding and software system .

• A minimum education training qualification, minimum Level 3 award or any other tutoring qualification.

Position : Full Time Training Manager

Workings hours :38.5hrs per week

Wages: £28,500/annual

 

Job description:

• Checking that trainers are fully qualified within their roles

• Planning and preparing activities to allow for the monitoring of assessments

• Ensuring the standardisation of assessment practices (working alongside Assessors, trainers and employers)

• Observing both trainer and trainees & providing constructive feedback

• Sampling assessment records and decisions / grades given

• Identifying and facilitating best practices within the DCS organisation

• Implementing training programmes for internal and external for trainers and trainees.

• The training manager will assess training requirements and prepares lectures, demonstrations, and study materials.

• Responsible to supervise trainee development, assists trainees with difficulties and prepares regular progress reports on each trainee for management.

• Responsible to arrange work experience and instructional visits for trainees.

• To plan curriculum and rota of staff duties and updates or amends them in light of developments within DCS.

• Advises on DCS training programmes and discusses progress or problems with staff and trainees.

• The training manager will devises general and specialised training courses in response to particular needs as require by our clients and DCS .

Work experience and Personal Skills:

• Related work experience can be required minimum of 2 years.

• Experience in information technology to help develop efficient, such as electronics-assisted training programs and to train employees in the new features of technology.

• Communication skills: To impart information and training to audiences made up of different backgrounds and personalities.

• Decision-making skills: To be able in determining training programs to get the most out of staff.

• Leadership skills: oversee staff engaged in a variety of responsibilities and duties. You'll want to be able to motivate and teach them.

• Collaboration skills: To be able in working with trainees, other management, and experts.

Desire for Continuing Education to keep pace with emerging and innovative trends.

Education:

 

Qualification and training

• A minimum of a bachelor's degree in management, education or any relevant are required.

• Gained Level 3-5 in educational and training or Assessing Competence in the Work Environment desirable .

Position : Health and Safety instructors

Job description:

  • To provide advice and guidance on all aspects of health, safety and welfare to directors, group managers, managers, staff and Councilors/committees as appropriate.

  • To monitor and research new health and safety legislation and best practice giving guidance on the council's implementation and compliance.

  • Create training materials for all Health and Safety related trainings. These materials may include hands-on training modules or book-related learning and tests. Good trainers have the capability to customize this material based on the needs of the client.

  • Organize Health and Safety training sessions. After creating health and safety materials, they organize sessions with their client's employees. They teach this material over a period as required. 

  • Identifying further Health and Safety trainings required and means to acquire these trainings.

  • Update safety protocols as required. Based on routine intervals and previous events, the health and safety instructor should ensure policy and procedures are regularly updated in line with standards.

  • Implement emergency drills throughout the year and records should be well kept and communicated
